I've had the absolute honor of getting to know Zach & Ann E. over the past year or so. I first met them while doing a merch shoot for the company one of our mutual friends worked for. They were just dating at the time, and I remember telling my friend afterwards "those two might be the cutest couple I've ever seen." And I mean it! They exude kindness, joy, and a love for the Lord that is so evident in their relationship.
When Zach asked if I'd be interested in shooting their proposal, my answer was obviously YES!! Needless to say I was hiding behind a tree with a camera in my hand and tears in my eyes watching it unfold.
Their engagement session was nothing short of a rom-com playing out in front of me. We walked, ran, & twirled around downtown Little Rock until the sun went down, and then ran around some more!
As it got closer to their wedding date, I was secretly reallyyyyyy hoping they would ask me to be their wedding photographer. I ran to my husband so excited when I got the text asking if I was available April 10!!
Throughout the planning process, I knew this day would be special. How could it not?
It's hard not to have a magical day with two people as joyful and in love as these two, but it still far exceeded my expectations.
Their rehearsal dinner was full of all of their favorite people; so excited and eager to celebrate them! Every speech from friends & family brought everyone to tears.
Rehearsal dinners are quickly becoming one of my favorite things to shoot. Most times leading up to the wedding I'm only talking with the bride & groom, but getting to be in the room with all of their favorite people, hear speeches about them growing up, and learn more about there story just makes the wedding day that much sweeter.
The wedding day. It was exactly what you would expect and more. From start to finish, their day was filled with smiles, laughs, and happy tears no matter what. I took some of my favorite photos of all time, and not because they're gorgeous and so easy to pose (which is true!), but because they were focused on each other and the joy of the day, and that means more than any pose ever will.
Every detail reflected their personalities and love for each other as well as their love for the Lord. Getting to capture their entire journey from dating to wedding day was an absolute joy, and something I hope to do again for many couples in the future. I was truly a wreck all day!! Their love is so pure and their day was the most fun!!
