CHENAL COUNTRY CLUB
LITTLE ROCK, AR

I'm lucky enough to not only call Annie & Jonathan long time clients of mine, but friends as well!
From the time I was born, I've been best friends with Annie's little sister, Kate. This made Annie my honorary big sister too! I loved her like a sister, and we even fought like it sometimes when we were little. She's always been more like family to me. As Kate and I got older, we slowly started getting invited to hang out with Annie & her friends (which was the most exciting thing because we always thought they were the coolest). These past few years we've gone to concerts together, gone on trips together, and spent many Christmas and Galentine's parties together. I still get so excited when we get to go to something of "the big girl's," and being part of her wedding day with all of them just made me so happy.
Watching Annie find her person was nothing short of a fairytale. The more I learned about Jonathan, the more I knew he was perfect for her. He's sweet, caring, and I can't wait to keep watching them build their lives together.
When Jonathan reached out to me about shooting their proposal in May of 2025, I was SO excited. It was a labor of love from the whole family to figure out how to get her to Garvan Gardens for the proposal and then back to her family's house in North Little Rock for the engagement party without spoiling any of it!
We were blessed with perfect weather, and an amazing location. There wasn't a dry eye around!!
Annie is an art teacher, so when it came time for their engagement session, the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts was obviously the perfect choice!
These two were great sports, and we were able to still have so much fun and get great shots even with insaneeee rain.
As the wedding day got closer, none of us could contain our excitement. We saw storms in the forecast, but knew it wouldn't distract from the beautiful day they were bound to have.
I always tell my couples, as long as your number one priority for the day is marrying each other, you will have the best day of your life no matter the circumstances.
That's exactly what happened! It was impossible for it to not be a perfect day when they had that many people with that much joy wanting to celebrate them. Even though the plans turned out a little different than anticipated, everyone agreed they wouldn't have changed a thing. The day was perfect from start to finish even with last-minute changes and spur-of-the-moment decisions because of the weather. I wish I could relive this day again and again!
Cheers to The Hills!
